Be the change you want to see in the world.
                                                                              Gandhi

Success is 99 percent failure.
                                                  Soichiro Honda

Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and help them to become
  what they are capable of being.
                                                              Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Dance as though no one is watching you,
Love as though you have never been hurt before,
Sing as though no one can hear you,
Live as though heaven is on earth.
                                                            Souza

Victory belongs to those who believe in it the most...who believe in it the longest.

There is no scarcity of opportunity to make a living at what you love; there's only a scarcity
  of resolve to make it happen.
                                                          Wayne Dyer

The thoughts I choose to think and believe right now are creating my future.  These thoughts
  form my experiences tomorrow, next week, and next year.  It is only a thought, and a
  thought can be changed.

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
                                                                                                                                Eleanor Roosevelt

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our
  breath away.

The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each
  other's life.  Rarely do members of one family grow up under the same roof.
                                                                                                                                               Richard Bach

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
                                                                                                                            Winston Churchill

                                                      The Wise Way

You might wonder what a great woman like Mother Teresa would read, besides the Bible, to inspire
her for her endless daily task. The following writing was often attributed to her, because a copy was on
her wall. She would look at it often for inspiration, and personal empowerment.

"The Wise Way" was written by a young man who was just 19 years of age at the time. A student at
Harvard, Kent M. Keith, wrote this, and first published it in the Harvard Student Agencies in the year
1968.

"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.

"If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

"If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

"If you are honest and frank people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

"What you spend years building, someone may destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

"If you find serenity and happiness, others may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

"The good you do today people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

"Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

"You see, in the final analysis IT'S ALL BETWEEN YOU AND GOD;
It was never between you and them anyway."

                                                    Lunch with God

A little boy wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his
suitcase with Twinkies and a six pack of Root Beer and he started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at
some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase. He was about to take a drink
from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie.

She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it
again, so he offered her a root beer. Again, she smiled at him. The boy was delighted!

They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, the boy realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone
more than a few steps, he turned around, ran back to the old woman and gave her a hug. She gave
him her biggest smile ever.

When the boy opened the door to his own house a short time later, his mother was surprised by the
look of joy on his face.

She asked him, "What did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied, "I had lunch with God." But before his mother could respond, he added, "You know what?
She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the
look of peace on her face and he asked, "Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

She replied, "I ate Twinkies in the park with God." However, before her son responded, she added,
"You know, he's much younger than I expected."

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an
honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life
around.
